You don't need 70# to blow through a deer.
I pulled 70# when I first started hunting, and it was no problem in practice; I could draw the bow straight back while sitting.
One 19 degree day, wearing bluky clothes,I could not pull the bow
and the deer walked.
You just can't believe the difference in difficulty until it happens.

I have been off it for a year or two. With the 101, I don't need it.It would be downright scary to turn the thing all the way up. Right now it's tossing arrows weighing 440 grains at 295 fps. Thats 85 ft lbs of KE. I am blessed with long arms though.
