Camo storage?
I know about the airtight plastic bags and such, but I've heard of people just hanging their clothes outside and leaving them there-- even in the rain, etc. I've got a lot of pines on my property and could just throw all my hunting clothes on one of them-- would that be a good idea? I'm going to wash everything today in scent free detergent, but I don't have space age technology for storage. I've used simple garbage bags in the past. What do you think I should do?

Use whatever you have.
I bought some Ziploc bags the other night that I like to use, too. They're re-sealable, 10 gal. and they have handles. I can pack one hunt's worth of camo in them and just take the bag with me when I go somewhere. They run about $5 for 4 bags. I'll do laundry, today.....and pack the camo (down to my towel, socks and underwear) for my this coming Saturday's morning and afternoon hunts in separate bags. Stic those in a large duffle....and I'm ready for my trip this weekend.
I used four of these bags last year.....and they lasted almost an entire season. You can use the ones that become non-airtight (after the seals become worthless) to STILL store your camo in the off-season....when air-tight doesn't count for much.

Buy one of those rubbermaid tubs thats what me and my brother use. We wash them up and dry them in dryer with fresh earth scent dryer sheets then put them in the tub along with more dryer sheets and scent wafers. Hope this helps.

Jeff,
I was just asking my wife last night if they made freezer bags that large. She said no [&:] I'll hit up my local walmart today and see for myself! I'm looking to do exactly what you've done. I wanta seperate bag for each day and I want it to be clear. 10 gallon bags should work for everything except maybe my insulated bibs and jacket. I'll probably just use a garbage bag for that.
