And if not spell checking is not laziness what is it?

Had a guy come into the store today wanting to get his bow to be quiet, come to find out he hadn't been tightening all his screws down after shooting![&:]
Just a quick reminder to make sure you keep everything tightened down, the slightest loose screw can lead to wobelling and shaking that creates a whole lot of noisE!

i do not shoot a tube peep. i just checked all the screws and they were tight. i think his bow is just shoots more quiet for some reason. The only think i have on my bow that is made to help with noise is a stabilizer, and then mathews comes with harmonic dampners (sp?) and the string stoppers right by the cams

If you're going to hack on people for poor writing, you could at least check your own.

Hey, kwilson; be careful. I did that very thing a couple of weeks ago. I tweaked someone who made a spelling error while correcting someone else's grammer and one of the fellas on here jumped me for it.

(Oops... I just read the rest of the thread. Too late for the warning. Everyone makes typos. I only call guys on it if they make one while they're correcting someone. Unless, of course, it's PreacherTony. Seeing as how he's the self proclaimed HNI spellchecker, I'll open up on him.

My suggestions:
Make sure all of your fasteners are tightened.
Consider shooting a heavier arrow - if you shooting a light one.
Let someone else shoot your bow. It may not seem as loud when you stand back.
Get a string supressor: http://www.meanvarchery.exactwebsites.com/home.html
Download the Easton tuning guide and learn more about tuning your bow: http://home.att.net/~sajackson/tuning_guide.pdf
It will be quieter and you will learn alot about the bow.
P.S. I did not spellcheck this post!

I also shoot the Matthews Drenaline and have noticed that it is somewhat loud. I have the tube peep sight on there as well and I know that a lot of that noise is coming from that so, I have been thinking about taking that off and see how much quieter it is.
