Default rain rain go away

Hey all,
So the first bow season in VA, urban archery, opens this saturday. Due to all the hurricanes/tropical storms, it looks like we are gonna get some rain on opening day. I still plan on gettin out there and doing my best. Just wanted to hear some thoughts on hunting in the rain. Anyone had some success? thanks in advance.

If it is pouring rain your chances are low. However, if it's a light drizzle or off an on your chances are good IMHO.

i see deer all the time in the rain. but not in the pouring rain. deer live in the rain i don't think they care. if they are hungry they will eat. IMO

I just got home and it has been rainging all day. On my way to work there were deer everywhere. On my way home it was a light rain and I still saw a few does out. I need it to quit though so I can go check my food plots

I hope to get a backyard sit in or two this month to arrow a doe.

I have six inches of rain in the gauge, from yesterday and today. I doubt the deer have moved all that much. Although hunting a light rain or drizzle is my favorite time, especially if it quits while you are in your stand.
