xibowhunter it seems the folks who ordered hoyts aren' t the only ones awaiting orders...the new martin i ordered hasnt arrived yet either ...my dealer told me the other day that most of the companies are backlogged upto ten weeks in some cases...not exactly what i wanted to hear and even though the anticipation is unbearable at best, no doubt when the bows start rolling in it will make the shooting experience sweeter
just hang in there ya never know you might get a surprise phone call saying to come pick it up just when your least expecting it.

This is odd. You hear on the news daily how much the economy is down. The stock markets waayy down. (My companies stock is scrapping bottom) Yet so many bowhunters are willing and able to shell out $500.00+ on a new bow that the manufacturers can' t keep up.
I bet Ford and chevy wish they had this problem!!

Never could understand why a bow hunter is afraid to spend money on a good bow when the season lasts 3 months, but he will spend 1000.00 on a rifle or two for a season that lasts 9 days?
I' M CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!

different states, different seasons.
Here in texas Bow season is Pretty much four weeks long, running from the end of September to the end of October. After that It' s gun season from November to the middle of January. A Lot more than nine days. You can bow hunt during rifle season though.
I told a cowworker how much my new bow was going to cost and his kneejerk reply was " you could get a darn nice rifle for that" . I agree. Rifles seem to have a higher value in mainsteam society. And much better resale. Try selling a five year old bow for 3/4 of new cost- not going to happen.
