GMMAT, i wont do it with every deer, but did it with my first last season....just another piece of the memory i guess...

i got all the shell casings ive killed deer with when using a rifle...

turkey beards are glued into the shells that killed them...

every doe tag i filled has its shell casing with it...

actually found the patch from the roundball that killed my first flintlock deer....kinda keepsakes to me...i dont know..

got mushroomed 22 bullets ive found while skinning coons...


ive always been a pack rat....but those things have memories to me...if arrows werent so expensive, id probably keep em all bloody lol

On my first bow kill buck I'm going to do that. But after that I'm just going to clean the arrow up and use it again.

On mine there is no arrow in the antlers but I guess if I put a hat on it and a cigerette in its mouth we can call that a tradition.
