Man oh Man. I can't believe that I haven't even seen any cows. Its still about 80 deg. here and there is also a fire were I hunt so I've been hunting a different spot. I haven't heard any bugles yet ether. Is that due to the heat still being 80? Well I hope that you guys are having better luck then me.

I am leaving after work today for 4 days in the high country as well. Good luck to you all. 3rd weeks is the good week in my opinion.

Yep, we are leaving this Saturday for MT and will be hunting Sunday-Friday. Just 2 of us on a 15,000 acre ranch. I am so pumped just to get to see a new state. I have been hunting that ranch in CO since I was 14so getting to see and experience a whole new place is just as exciting as it gets for me.

I am leaving this Saturday as well for the last week the Colorado season...Hopefully the temps get cooler this week, appears to be somewhat warm.

Rob, I am not sure of CO, but MT was 86 yesterday! Supposedly a cold front is coming through tomorrow and we are supposed to have highs in the low 50's and upper 40's. I hope things are the same in old Montrose for you. Bring home a whopper and I would love to chat when you get back regarding next year!!!

Well I just got back from Idaho at 3 am this morning. It was a very hard hunt! Way to hot! But I scored :D

I shot a nice bull, I will get pics up asap! Have to spend some time with the wife!

Well team 2 so far its been a rugged hot dry season. We pulled the plug after 4 days of hard hunting and not one elk seen or spooked.. we think they all fled to the Indian res but who the heck knows. I still have the late season in November but I don't know if this contest lasts that long.. I'll try and add some awesome pictures of the volcanoes that we out in all their glory.. unlike the elk!
