Since I will be sitting on my stands all day this year I have thought about buying a PSP to keep me entertained. Also, I've thought about buying a one bud ear piece, so I could still hear noise out of one ear.

Just curious ifanyone else uses one? Plus, I could watch movies off of this thing too. I saw they just came out with the blue PSP nfl model and I thought it would be nice to have on the stand.

I was reading a book once, and had that funny feeling I was being watched. I looked up and a doe was staring right at me! I'll just daydream, listen to the birds and squirells!

I do nothing except look for deer when I'm on stand. I do no reading, no texting, no playing of games, no nothing! I'm there for the sole purpose of killing a deer, and enjoying the woods. Period. I must admit, I have dozed off very briefly a few times. Purely by accident though.

I don't think it is a bad idea....esp if you can do it without getting too into it and stay on the ready. It seems just abut every guy or gal you see on tv is usually playing some handheld poker or something of that nature. Me, I spend all of my time thinking up witty things to text message to my fellow hunting buddies, knowing they are doing the same thing.

last year i had enough trouble watching for deer had a 4 point and a 9 point get right infront of me before i saw them if i was playing psp i bet he would come infront of me have soem fun with a doe give me the finger and walk off before i saw him

but i do not think it would hurt you besides keeping your mind on deer and not a game.

Me ... Id rather just enjoy sitting ina tree, feelin the wind, and relaxin in nature. (hell thats 90% of the hunt IMO)
