Sort of defeats the purpose of hunting in my opinion but if you want to it is your hunt so go for it.

I have been guilty of listening to a radio while in a blind before, but it was a completely enclosed blind not a tree stand.

That's one reason to go hunting. To GET AWAY from all this crap!

I just look for deer! They are hard enough to spot and be ready for without being distracted by a video game.

I read all the time, turkey hunting. I'll read some, this year, deer hunting.....probably a good courtroom drama.

When it costs me a great buck....I'll quit. Also....it help me get to sleep[8D]

I do nothing except look for deer when I'm on stand. I do no reading, no texting, no playing of games, no nothing! I'm there for the sole purpose of killing a deer, and enjoying the woods. Period. I must admit, I have dozed off very briefly a few times. Purely by accident though.
I agree. I'll just sit and try to pick apart the woods. Seeing the littlestbugs or animals when focusing is an enjoyment for me.

i do alot of texting with my brother and play a god bit of Texas Hold em on my cell while hunting but usually only during slow times. But i cant fall asleep only did it once and when i woke there were 8 deer standing under my tree so havent did that since even tho i wish i could somedays!

As far as I go is a magazine or book. If you gotta bring PSP in the woods then you need to stay home asn play with your PSP.... wtf is a PSP??
