Default Got the news yesterday!

Came in from Hunter Saftey class last night and had a letter from Texas Parks and Wildlife...I got drawn for antlerless/spike-unlimited exotic, feral hog on Walter Buck WMA in Junction Texas! It's my first achery draw and am excited, not a trophy hunt but fantastic country during October and chance at some feral animals. If it was about the hunt and meat I can go kill all the meat deer I want a hour from the house.Along with the winning draw the son and I also passed the hunter course with 98 and 96 scores...think a beer to celebrate is in order!

Thanks Bob...I did the test in about 3-5 minutes so I boneheaded the 1 wrong answere!Since it's not a trophy hunt I can be patient and wait for the text book shotor a dominant doe type situation. Not sure on the abundance of exotics but can wait things out to see what shows...I'm going hunting doesn't have to be a "killing" trip.Horn soup my backside...I'll be on vacation ain't got to harvest to have a good hunt do I? Texas hill country during October...ain't nothing better! I can sit around camp and shoot bag target and still have fun!
