OK I'll answer it sans the "PC" spewage......lol.

You're gonna write me a check......tax free......and all I have to do is forego hunting (including not touching my hunting weapons)?

I'm guessingthe number would be pretty low, comparatively (being as how "I'd as soon die" is the standard to some....lol). I could buy a nice spread......work the land....buy a nice tractor.....and have a NICE place to hunt in 5 years. I could also film for my friends......and get back into some flyfishing.

I'm guessing a check for $25K (tax free) would get my attention. It would for one year.....I can tell you that. It would mean less (that amount) as time went on, though. So.....let's say it had to go up $5K/yr.

That's being honest.

Noone said make a decision between the job or hunting. It said, what would it take for YOU to quit hunting for 5 years. I guess since you wanna say you make that much money, then YOU would not be up for taking any bribe money to quit hunting.

We should have a pre-requisite, here:

If you haven't ever borrowed and paid back at least $25K......you probably have no idea of how much money that is.

You might as well say "Gazillion".

25K is no joke Jeff......I friggin moved into my current home almost 2 years ago and had around 10k of appliances break down within 6 months. That wasn't alot of fun forking over. So yes, 25k is alot of cold cash after taxes.

I absolutely love hunting, but I would trade in 5 years of hunting to know my kids were ok with their college expenses, and that if something unexpected happened, that my family would be ok to weather the storm financially.
