In this case I'm am quite proud to be as you say "kinda Pitiful" ;)
LOL...I know you are, Jim....I know YOU are...;)

It's the same principle as the fawn threads. We have one hunter condescending to and belittling another hunter for the taking of legal game in a legal manner.

It's not enough for you to have a dissenting opinion. You have to make it known that the guy doing it differently from you has no morals or ethics. And what has he really done.....other than hunt legally and ethically?

Nothing.;)
Was that an attack Ad Hominem????

Looks like another vapid post finally got there for you.

First off.....Jim that Reno joke was priceless...I mean I had to stop and laugh hard for that one!! Secondly, I will bite on this one, hunting behind a fence is not hunting in my book. It's killing a deer. Look at it this way, does P&Y or B&C see hunting behind a fence fair chase or even hunting?? I don't think so.

The term "Fair Chase" shall not include the taking of animals under the following conditions:
[ol][*]Helpless in a trap, deep snow or water, or on ice.[*]From any power vehicle or power boat.[*]While confined behind fences as on game farms, etc.[*]By "Jacklighting" or shining at night.[*]By the use of tranquilizers or poisons.[*]By the use of any power vehicles or power boat for herding or driving animals, including the use of aircraft to land alongside or to communicate with or direct a hunter on the ground.[*]By the use of electronic devices for attracting, locating or pursuing game, or guiding the hunter to such game, or by the use of a bow or arrow to which any electronic device is attached.[*]Any other condition considered by the Board of Directors as unsportsmanlike[/ol]

So, does that mean no rangefinders, no red dot sights and no lighted nocks?

RE: Can "Hunting" be defined?

I have to agree that hunting is defined by the term iself, look it up in Websters.

Methods vary, Some use guns some use bows, Some use bait, some use food plots..is there a difference? How about dogs, treestands, deer drives??

Legality has to be used in the discussion, we are a governed body.

No one is forced to hunt in any way they choose not to. I can look down my nose at you and you can do the same to me.

If we all just collectively agree that weare all better than the next guy and hunt harder and more rightious, then we will truly get some-where!
