What bow would be good for a beginner women to start shooting archery? I would be looking for something around $200 or under for the bare bow.
This a bow that would be used strictly for target shooting in the back yard, no hunting.

There are alot of factors to consider, draw length and what kindof draw poundage she is comfortable with, and most important to me is finding a bow that will grow with me, by this I mean a bow that will allow you to increase the poundage on it as you grow in draw strength. I would also like to refer you to www.womenhunters.com they have a message board there where you can get first hand info on womens bows from the women that shot them, they also have a compound bow review page.
