I normally shoot 31inch carbon arrows with standard 100 grain field points. I've bought several different brands of broadheads over the last year or so.
This last weekend I bought a set of G5 Montech's but they are 125 grain.
Can anyone tell me how much of a drop difference I should expect out of those? I know it's probably going to take me ruining one by firing it but when you pay 35$ for 3 of them, you hate to waste one.
Any advice would be great.
Thank you.

There are too many variables for us to be able to tell you. Draw length, draw weight, etc. Shoot them and find out. You may want to try 125 gr FPs first.

When I switched from 100gr to 125gr tips.....I had ZERO "difference" from 20 and 30 yds. (67#'s and about 290fps). Where I saw the difference was whenI stepped back to 40 and 50yds.

If you insist on shooting the 125 grain broadhead before a 125 grain field point, expect it to shoot low and the very least. Depending on your arrow spine you could miss left or right as well. Start at 10 or 15 yards and aim at the top middle dot on your target. Work your way back slowly as you get a feel for the difference.
Good Luck.
