Default Moultrie D40?

I'm at Bass Pro this weekend and they've got the D40 for $69...normally $100. Should I go ahead and pick one up? Is it worth it?

It's my local BP. It's the fall hunting classic and I'm here with Mossy Oak. It's in store only.

I wouldn't pass it. I have been using the Gamespy( the generation before the d 40) And I would gladly pay 69 for one of them....I imagine that the d40 would only be better.

I have the D40 and it seems to work. Last time I checked the SD card I had 781 pics in 8 days. I got mine on sale for like $85. I would pick it up!

Definetly worth it....I had two that I paid $100 a piece for and have had a couple years without issue. I did have one stolen last year off the property I just bought(my new house). So while that sucked, I did just get home from the beach and I got a new D40 for at a wally world there for $64. So definetly...it's well worth that price.

Yep. I have two...one of which I bought last night for $69.00 at the fall hunting classic. My first one is about a year old and had done very well until I tried to "rig" it for alonger life battery. I think I reversed the polarityof the battery and fried the camera. [8D]

I'm just leaving the Springield, Mo., store and I picked up two more of them the first day. That'll make a total of four for me now...

Be sure to ask for your vendor discount when you check out.
