Wolfskin pattern opinions

Obviously not Todd here...
But you're right, Rob... if I wanted all-GAME versatility (notice I didn't mention all-SEASON, because I don't think it matters to deer as I quoted myself up above...), I would definitely go with the Fall Brown.
That is indeed Wolfskin Fall Gray by GWW in the above link as well, if you want to see it up close.
I think Todd's like me, Rob... he's a deer hunter, not a turkey hunter.

... even as treestand hunters, we are not always in the tree.

Again, this if for DEER hunters. Like I said above, if you're pursuing turkeys I too would probably suggest the Fall Brown.

That is the most impressive or possibly the most misunderstood aspect of Predator Fall Gray - Brown. On the ground, it does just as good of job breaking your outline because like Greg's picture shows - light is bouncing off of everything in the woods. Light makes things look different than we think. Then eliminate the color (what a whitetail sees) and you can see why Predator fools whitetails.
I'm not a turkey hunter, so I'm not sure what i would recommend. I LOVE spring green in the summer and early fall though!

True enough, bud. I know you've heard and seen this from me before, but I think it is equally effective on the ground -- to DEER. Here's a picture of Fall Gray on the ground. I think a deer would have a very tough time identifying this form as human, provided the wearer remained motionless -- and this isn't even turned to black and white or even a dichromatic view which is at best what scientists believe a whitetail can see in.

Again, this if for DEER hunters. Like I said above, if you're pursuing turkeys I too would probably suggest the Fall Brown.

Like some said before and I forget who it was, I like to hide from people too and Fall Grey would make me jump out to people in a green enviroment.
Again, I wouldn't say anything bad about Fall Grey except, it's seasonal. Can't wear it year around. Now remember, I have a set in Fall Grey and wear it when the leaves are gone. I have Fall Brown which I can wear year round and I don't care for Spring Green, simply put, I don't need it with Brown and Grey.
Good Luck Rick. I knew the Engima wouldn't take long to sell. That was a deal.
