Used it for years also. That' s the only thing I wash my hunting clothes in. Added a little to the dryer but pissed off the wife. Now just put some in the double trash bag I keep the cloths in untill I get to my hunting site.

On another site they had a mix of 1/2 cup bakeing soda...16oz hydrogen peroxide...add water to fill gallon jug and let it breath for a few days. Last year the jeep gas can sloshed some gas on my partners bugle, we sprayed it down with this mix and it was gone!

I use baking soda in my bags that i keep my hunting clothes in and in my boots,i also put some in a sock and carry it with me when i' m hunting and hit it on my clothes every couple of hours or if i get sweated up from the walk in to my stand.I read that most of the scent you give off comes from the head and neck area alot of it comes from your breath,it said you can mix baking sode and water and use it as mouth wash before you go hunting .that would' nt work good for me since i chew snuff while i' m hunting.

I am a baking soda man. I just started using it this year after all the information that I read on the forum and found that I can make a heck of a lot of scent spray for very little money and can' t see why I ever spent the money on the other stuff. I have to admit that the tooth brushing is not the tastiest, but it does clean the odor out of the mouth.

I wash my huntin clothes in vinegar(about a cup in a load) when really dirty.
Wouldn' t you smell like a pickle?[] Or are you trying to attract pregnant women?

I have never tried it, but judging from all of the thumbs up, you can bet I will.

Baking soda gets the thumbs up from me. I also use unscented Arm and Hammer brand detergent and pit juice.

Stump as to the rubbber gloves comment does he hunt with them on all the time? Cuz otherwise not only is it over the top, it is pointless. Something I have found with the need to reduce scent as of late, is some people' s need to bs about how far they go to be scent-free. Some fail to realize that their is no way to eliminate 100% of human odour, only to minimize. Take precautions is a must but hunting the wind is the only 100% way I know. They can' t bust what they don' t smell!
