He is not an internet dealer. He is a dealer in texas that I know from ArcheryTalk. It was not an internet sale at all. It would be the same if I called the local place and told them I was too lazy to drive the 2 miles to there store and that I wanted them to ship it to my house. For the record, I know you're not trying to start an arguement and neither am I. It's good to see bowhunters looking out for other bowhunters. We all need to make sure that we hold on to our rights and our heritage.

I bought the General over the Katera and the the Guardian.
I liked the Katera, too, but I do not the like the riser as it is uncomfortable to me in my hand. I also think the General is more shock-free too but as you say, it is slower.
Many people prefer the Guardian over the General. I just think the General is a little more refined and the cams are better.

It was actually the grip that FIRST turned me onto the Hoyts,Then I started liking everything else about them.
Nowadays,it seems all bows have a pretty decent grip.
You are definately going about it the right way,enjoy the search.
I have Natioanl shooting staff in my sig because of a shop rep deal.I could just as easily be shooting a Mathews or Bowtech because he carries them too.I am in no way affiliated with hoyt directly.

Made my decision. I got the........
...Guardian!
Finally I founda dealerwho had oneup in Dahlonega, GA, that hada 2008 in stock.I took one shot and I knew it was the one. I took 20 more shots just cause it felt so good.
Anyway. I have included a link to my photobucket account below. I have pictures of the new Guardian there. I couldn't condense them to a size that could be posted here. There's some good pictures of me and my niece, Kenzie, holding the bow on there. She's my squirrel hunting, crappie and trout fishing, bowshooting sidekick. I'm gonna get her into deer stickin' when she can draw a bow.
Thank you guys for your input in my decision. I have a lot of respect for all the brands I mentioned in my initial post. The BowTech was the one for me.

Congrats crowkilla, A heck of a bow. You're gonna love it.
I got news for you and him both. If that bow gets shipped, regardless if you live next door or 1000 miles away, herisks losinghis Bowtech dealership and you do not have a warranty..... period.
I promise you that Bowtech monitors these archery forums.
Same goes for the stores that are selling these bows for these prices.
