Very nice , but seems over kill to me especially on a lone wolf because of their light weight (they do need better straps).

How much do they weigh?
Overkill ??????? A Lone Wolf loaded with stixs and your pack ....... even with the molly system I put on it last year, it bit into my shoulders a little. Mine is coming this week ....can't wait to try it out.
The pic is of a climber. I didn't know they needed sticks.

It's a nice looking piece of gear, good price too! My problem is that i need to pack a full back-pack of gear, as well as a stand / sticks. This means I have to attach a backpack to the outside of the stand, which means more straps of some-kind. Nice for the guy who packs light though!
I understand the pack issue ..... what I have done is, I lay the sticks flat instead of stacking them and use one small ratchet strap to secure them. Then I lay my pack on top of them...... then I found the find of all finds ...one of those small bungie nets they use for motor cycles.....found it at Wal Mart. I strech the net over the pack and all is good.
