This is quite the phenomenom- I posted this exact same poll in theDeer Hunting Forum here on HuntingNet and it's significantly slanted in the direction of thinking it's the same buck with 60% of those who voted feeling there was a 75% chance or better that it is the same buckwhile only 24% of those who voted feeling there was a 25% or worse chance that it was the same buck.

Conversely, in this forum- 41% of the voters felt that there was a 75% or better chance that itis the same buck & 41% of the voters felt that there was a 25% or worse chance that itis the same buck.

What gives? What's causing so many more bowhunters to not think it's the same buck (percentage-wise) as compared to the broader spectrum of all types of Whitetail hunters who visit theDeer Hunting forum?

Here's the link to the poll in theDeer Hunting Forum so you can see for yourself:

Oooh- sorry............... I didn't realize someone appointed you the official
"Killer of Threads".

Apparently, CMURPHY and abunch of other bowhunters on this forum feeldifferently than you. I'm trying to ascertain everyone's opinion- not
just yours. I do appreciate your perspective & thank you for sharing it.
Butit's simply not your place to tell me that the way you feel is the way it is and then attempt to squash the dialogue.

Rob, I was completely joking around, I'm sorry I know it's hard to tell sarcasm over text, butt I was just being a smart ass. It highly likely that it is a different buck, it's very hard to tell.

Mike,
No harm, no foul. Thanks for the explanation. You're right- sarcasm is very tough to pick up via the typed word. Sorry if my retort was a bit much.........

Have a good season,
