Never said that, hell no I wouldn't be that succcessful! High fenced deer hunting is another story though. Come talk to me when you know a thing or 2 about bear hunting. Now we begin to see the root of our problems. I have hunted bears over bait and baited them, I also plan on hunting a hihg fence enclosure. If you plan on hunting Africa, you will hunt high fence. The problem is that we will continue to divide ourselves until we are conquered by the animal rights people. Plain and simple. Here's a question for you guys, how many of you hunt more than 100 acres? 500? 1000? 10,000? I hunt one place that is 20 acres between 2 subdivisions, am a somehow lower on the hunting totem pole because the 20 acres is about the only area that deer can roam? Almost high fence? Just 20 acres, mind you. The deer really follow a regular pattern. I bet most of you guys don't even hunt 500 acres, so what would you do in 5000? Let he is without sin, cast the first stone.

One thing, I have noticed about wild hogs. If you give them room to escape, you will never get charged. If they get cornered, and push comes to shove, you can get ran over fairly quickly by hogs.

High Fence hunting is done to take an animal for many reasons. (as the posts tend to go)
Like many things in life, we all have differing opinions, likes and dislikes. Yet, to fence in the wildlife so that they can be hunted is kind of taking the definition of hunting away.
When you go,... if you go, on a high fence hunt, by all means enjoy yourself. If it is your definition of hunting, so be it. It is not mine. The freedom of the wild is what hunting is all about. Animals can and have been tamed. Some, not so much as others. Our ancestors never dreamed of fencing in the "wild" animals. Most, if not all, livestock at one time roamed freely. for "produce" purposes though, they were more or less domesticated to fields and lots. So, in closing, please be aware of what you are doing and be a good example.

This should say," In my opinion ", instead of "Thats the DEFINITION of ", since you lack experience on 2 out of the 3 areas you are making the statement on.
Sir you missed the entire point.
When you view one form of legal hunting as "OK"....but turn your nose to the sky and condemn another form of legal hunting.......you've applied a "double standard". Insert whatever types of legal hunting you'd wish....for any game you desire.
The definition doesn't change.

When it comes to the term, "restraint", there are many different kinds .... there is
Physical - fence, cuffs, rope, etc.
Mental - fear
ENVIRONMENTAL - this would be baiting, money, etc
Medical - drugs
All these constitute restraining in some way or another ...............
Like it or not...
