I used to buy regular old tacs and go toa sign shop and ask for any scrap reflective vinyl. Black reflective is real hard to see during the day, but hit it with a flashlight and BAM you are there. I would recommend that you don't start putting them up for 200 yrds or better off the road, depending on how thick your area is and how much pressure you get in your area.

This is on my leased land, and im the only one who hunts this area...legally, so I dont think there is much cause for worry. maybe when shotgun season starts and they start running dogs all over the place I may take the stand down and move it to a more convenient place, butI think this spot is where I will get my big one in the first week of season...its waaayyyyy back there!

I have and do use them, but usually use NOTHING. I'm quite handy when it comes to see holes in the canopy to guide me. I make mental notes of stumps, leaningtrees, creeks, ditches ...whatever to guide me to my spot. I rarely if ever use a light. I also have a GPS. There is no stand you have to be in an hour before daylight... really. Sometimes you're better off waiting until the first grey gloom of daylight to quickly and quietly walk in when you can see where you're going and not stomping on sticks etc. I used to think I had to be there an hour to two before daylight. All you do is waist time and energy and valuable tree time. At the most, 15-20 minutes before light is plenty.

I agree withdavidmil, most morning stands should be aways from the feeding area therefore you dont have to be there way before daybreak. Deer donthotfoot it back to the bedding area right away, they nipple on stuff and lollygage before going to bed.( dont know if lollygage is spelled right or if its a real word[8D])

I have never used those and I never will.
