I shot a 4 pt many years ago and got a clean pass through and watched the deer eat for another 20 min after I shot him. He walked away, I got down followed the blood trail for about 125 yds and then nothing, not another drop, never did find him. Still ponder that to this day, I know I hit him high b/c my arrow had meat on it, but how high??

I believe it. My buddy shot an 8 point last year and got a complete pass through. We never found blood or any sign the deer was hurt. IT is also bad to shoot them in the shoulder socket.

Was she shooting a Rage broadhead?

Rage heads never have a void.

What did his arrow hit? Nothing back backstrap, above the spine. There is WAY more room above the spine than people think or will give credit for. IMO, you cannot hit a deer below the spine and not be in the vitals.
Jeff, are you saying the shot was below the spine?

I ask as well but I still call BS. There is no such thing as a "void", "hollow" spot, "no mans land" or whatever the hell you wish to call it. If you go BELOW the spine, you WILL catch pieces of internal organs PERIOD! This does not mean you will kill the deer every single time.

I've seen photographic evidence of scar tissue on lungs created by broadheads. I wonder if that shooter claimed the "void" too?

And I'd wager that most of the people never even hit below the spine but above it.

Watch it.

Come back and report.

I used to feel the SAME WAY.
