Anybody watch Keith Warren, today? "No mans Land"/ "Void"
I'm sitting here talking to my wife and I see Keith's daughter shoot at a deer with her crossbow.
I have NEVER, EVER bought into the "no man's land/void" argument.
I just saw video proof it exists.
Complete pass-thru.....and the deer is seen on trail cam just a short time later.......and is fine (everything's relative), but it appears to have NO injury, whatsoever.
She ends up missing the deer, again, on a subsequent hunt. He looks great (the deer).

A lot of people claim it is BS.... I never really had an opinion untill last year. I now believe in the theroy.
Like I said....it's hard to argue with video evidence.....and I now believe in it, too.

I bet that they wanted to show that the deer was completely fine, no problems or issues resulting from the shot.
That way people watching wouldnt think "lost quarry" or worse.
I mean, they could just as easily not shown that hunt, but maybe that wanted to show the "youth experience".

A buddy shot one in the "void" a few years ago. We tracked it for a while, blood petered out...typical "void" results. One week later, about the same time, same stand, same trail, he smokes a doe. When we skinned her, right there in the "void" was his broadhead hole, healing nicely, right where he thought he hit her.
What did his arrow hit? Nothing back backstrap, above the spine. There is WAY more room above the spine than people think or will give credit for. IMO, you cannot hit a deer below the spine and not be in the vitals.

Was the shot from a ground blind? Seems like it could happen from ground level but not so much from a treestand. Cant say for sure, never had it happen.

I hit one in the "hollow spot" a few years ago and my brother ended up killing it with a rifle a month later. Nice 8 point that was healed over but definitly the same deer
