Default Smelly Rubber boots?

I think for this winter bowhunts I'm gonna buy some rubber boots to go over my other boots. I've had to buy some for work and my question is How do you get rid of the rubber stink? If I can smell it then I'm sure the deer can.

rubber boots to go over other boots? I'm not sure I understand, maybe I've just never seen this, but I've definitely never heard of it. I can barely get my rubber lacrosse boots over my dad gum feet, much less another pair of freakin boots???? I guess you would buy like a size 20 or something, haha. Please explain this, I'm eager to know.

SS, they make rubber boots that go over other boots or shoes ... I can't remember what they are called, but they are handy with different types of hunting ..... and comfy too. I used to have a pair and I would wear them over my sneakers ..... very comfortable .....

Ya they are like a 2 buckle or 5 buckle that slips over your boots. For working in concrete or mud or just to keep your boots dry. So how do you get rid of the rubber smell?

I doubt a deer would be afraid of the smell of rubber boots, tires, propalatics, etc. Just wash and wear. I say that but I always do stomp on hedge apples before I enter the woods.

It's been my experience that the rubber smell has to literally wear off of the boots.[&:]Wouldn't the pull over boots have a similar rubber smell?

One morning of tromping around in the mud will end your problem. I used to use the big ugly yellow overshoes for the same thing you are wanting to do. I have since changes to Lacross knee high 1200 gram thinsulate boots. They work very well!!
