Bought it this last winter, just get to sight it in because I have had a hostage rest that i dint like on it so I got a ripcord that was loud so I ordered a hostage pro and just got it last week. I love Bowtech I have 2 bowtech decals on my truck a bowtech receiver hitch 3 bowtech hats and own a bowtech for the past 5 years and I will more then likely give them a nother chance. I cant see why no people don't believe me. When I called Bowtech today I talked to Nick Drildback and asked him If they had any problems with the limbs on the Generals and he said yes with out me telling him mine blew. As far as not having many post big deal I haven't been shooting so I didn't have much to say until now.

I have a new General and I'm trying to put a peep on it I have a portable cable hand press and thats not working (heard some scary sounds from bow) can I back the limb bolts out? I know Bowtechsugest asurlock press but I thought I read a while back, about someone backing the limb bolts out but making sure you can still see 3 treads on the bolts in the hole of the riser.
any one know if this is true?

Your first post details how you put the bow in a portable hand press that wasn't working properly, you heard what I can only imagine as a cracking noise("scary noise?")by pressing it wrong with a piece of crap ratchet and in the process breaking the limb tip and YOUR SURPRISED that the limb tipgave outon you??
Are you just not putting 2 and 2 toegther here? YOU BROKE YOUR BOW.
I'm also guessing you didn't tell Bowtech about your little misadventure with the portable press?
Oh brother.

The responses these threads get, are comical. Note to self, bows blowing up are only believable from reputable members.
Every account I have read about this, the axle has come out of the limb. That's not good. Obviously. I mean, how do you fake that? You can't.
It's possible these, "new members" are searching the net for advice and looking for a place to ask questions about what he should do. Instead no matter where these "new members" go, they get flamed and they're never believed.
People, take it for what it is, his bow blew up.
Refer to my first post, it's what happens everytime.
