Default 2005 Bowtech Allegiance

I have the oppertunity to buy an 05' Allegiance at a very good price and was wondering what you guys thought of this bow? I have heard that the 05 Bowtechs where notorious for cam lean...is this true? If so is it that big of a deal?? Any input from you bowtech guys would be great!

Yote Hunter,
I am a huge fan of their Allegiances. Do not have a 05, but 07 and 08. Check the cams any "slop" or visable movement to them? Are the strings in good shape? As long as the cams and string are good you will be pleased!

The cams are draw length specific on the 05' model.

What's the price? You should be able to get it for less than $350-400 depending on accessories.

I owned an 05 Allegiance as well as an 06 & 07. The Allegiance has definitely been one of my favorite bows.

Like was mentioned if it's your draw length go for it. The cams are draw specific.

I've owned 4 Allegiances. Most had little to no cam lean, and one had a moderate amount of cam lean. They all shot lights out and I never had a problem with any of them.
