Steven - I have been here before...Many times...I will go out...double lung a coon...and he will run away with my 23 dollar arrow....

Just remember, if you are poisoning coons, you are poisoning other creatures. I wouldn't go that far. You may just have to bite the bullet and learn to live with the coons.

Bowfishing...another habit I had when I was your age...when I had more time...I love the site of carp eggs in the bottom of a canoe...I miss those days......those WERE the days.........when the women flowed like wine....

Now I have (1) women..and 2 great kids...life is good!

But those were the days...

It sucks losing arrows. From my experience with racoon and possum they seem to be like run flat puncture seal tires. We had a big metal spike to deal with them in live traps but it was too slow and didn't really work well. I'd love to go out and shoot all of them a 12 ga. If you want to quietly get rid of them live trap them and let them swim (in the cage) works every time.

Kinda in the same boat man. I even have a truck, i just cant seem to find a place around where i live to do it [:@]
