Thanks for the review michael. I had a 3.0 flash last year that I was pretty happy with. Good little cams for the money.

I bought one last summer, wasn't an Extreme but maybe a 4.0 or something. Anyway, i hate this thing. Your lucky to even get picture in daylight and at night the flash is so weak that the deer better be sniffing the camera to get a pic of it. I guess they have made some improvements, i should have waited until this year to buy one.

Mine is an infared version. If your unhappy with your current one take it back to cabelas. They will take back anything as long as you have the original packaging!

I bought it at Dicks Sporting Goods last summer. Besides there isn't a Cabelas anywhere near here. We got shafted with BassPro instead.
