I don't have a truck so I pop the trunk, and set my backpack in it. Then I close the trunk, get in the car and drive off. LOL

Just get a hold of it and pull it in. I've never had one I couldn't load, but when they field dress 240# it is easier if you have some help!!:D

if i'm not hunting my property where i have a gator that makes it easy. i would take one of the ramps for the4 wheeler

Another spin off to the rope in the tree trick is tie the rope around the deer , throw the rope over the roof and tie it off to something, drop the tailgate all the way down (release the side straps to the gate)and just back up. Your deer will load itself. Just protect your roof with something so it won't get rope burn.;)

never had to put one in the back of my truck yet since I put an 11" lift and bigger tires on, the bottom of the truck bed sit about chest height so it should be interesting to see if i can do it by myself.

I hear ya, Chris. This is usually where I got stuck when all my buddies were going home. Nothing worse than stacking hay and BEES.

I've only loaded one buck into my truck. I put on my big boy pants and drug him by the antlers into the bed.
