Cheapest trail cam?

I also forgot to mention the flash distance of the wildview's, at best 15ft...the D-40 at best 30ft. I too have heard of people having troubles with moultrie but I guess I have been lucky and I will continue to buy them, I also hear that their customer service is good and helpful at getting the problems solved....If you want some night pic's let me know I will post them too!!!

I just ran up to walmart for the heck of it and picked up a D40 for $74. He was just marking it down when I got there. They had the cheap wildview marked down to $35 but I wanted something with more megapixels.
This should be perfect for what I was wanting. I love my I40 but I just wanted something cheap to put at my feeder.
I have had excellent luck with my I40. If you are having trouble you might make sure you got the latest updates for it.
I had a wildview 3.0 last year and I was pretty happy with it but the flash wasnt strong enough.

I got myMoultrie about 3yrs ago at Bass Pro and it has been nothing short of awesome. Now, the same camera is quiet a bit cheaper. I forget which one it is, I "think" its the Gamespy 200 3.1MP. It uses a rechargable 6v feeder battery. Honestly, that think might last 3months. That's with taking a lot of pictures too. When I bought the camera it was $189 I believe, and that wasn't including the battery. Now they are a lot cheaper. Hoenstly though, I couldn't ask for anything better. You will occasionally get awhite out picture during the day time but that's it.
I've been 110% satisfied with it.
I would buya Moutlrie in a heartbeat. When my Moultrie finally dies, it'll have another Moultrie in it's place. If Cuddeback would come out with a camera that uses a 6V battery, I'd buy one of those. The 6V rechargable battery makes a trail camera awesome. Not having to buy batteries all the time. However, the Moutlries give a whole new definition to deer in the headlights look
