RE: Cheapest trail cam?
I got a Wildview 2.0 2 pack for $100 at Cabelas a while back. It's cheap and it works great. The pics aren't the greatest quality, but you can see what you've got on the property.

RE: Cheapest trail cam?
I had one last year and was pretty happy with it. I noticed the moultrie D40's are $99.
Anything cheaper than that? rick |
RE: Cheapest trail cam?
My first camera was a wildview 3.0, Since I have bought several more. I would not recommend that camera to one of my friends for the money. I would recommend the Moultrie's before I would recommend the wildview's from the experience I have with them....I will post pics from both cameras and you decide...

RE: Cheapest trail cam?
This is from the wildview extreme 3.0 that was $99+tax

RE: Cheapest trail cam?
This is from a Moultrie D-40 I bought from Wally world for $99+tax
You decide but IMO, I think the D-40 are much clearer than the wildview's and they have better battery life.... |
RE: Cheapest trail cam?
Yep Moultrie D40.
I'm about to pick up another one myself. We'll actually be running 5 or 6 of them the entire time Greg / MO and I hunt in IL to keep tabs on different spots. |
RE: Cheapest trail cam?
Moultrie D40 gets my vote too.

RE: Cheapest trail cam?
That's interesting. I've been having trouble with my Moultrie I40. I knew there was activity, but I wasn't getting that many pics so I put the $50Wildview across from the $200 Moultrie. The Moultrie got 26 pics and the Wildview got 273.[&:]
I'm going to change out the batteries in the Moultrie and see if that helps. |
