I think mathews makes a good bow and i still have my old feather max,I now hunt with a bowtech commander, and I love it also is ita"better" bow? IT is in ways, but they both get the job done when it comes to hunting.

I think if Mathews would roll out a binary cam bow instead of just solo cams they might bring some old fanboys back in the fold. The solo cams are definetly smooth and shock free but other bow companies are making some pretty darn smooth binary's with better speeds. Oh yea put a better grip on every thing they make so I don't have to by a torqueless the day after droping 800 on a bow.

I shoot a Mathews.......a 2007 Switchback LD to be specific.

Love the grip, love the dampeners, love everything about it. It's simply a very well built well designed bow.

Yep....I'm a "fanboy"

Not me....I prefer a single cam design, IMO it's a better, simpler design...but that's just me.

Again....I love the stock Mathews grip.

BigJ as site bouncer and former NFL player I'm thinking your hands are probably larger than most. The stock Mathews grips are just to bulky for me, and most of the people I know who shoot them change them out too. That being said I think Mathews is a great bow, heck I'm still shootingthe Dren. just not as much. I believe they could benefit by making a smooth speed bow heck with the dampeners and all I am sure it would be a great bow, and in this day and age were speed is king would probably be a great seller.

I got one and I love it. Hated the grip too so I got a torqueless on there and all is well. I never understood why they dont change those grips.

I still cant quit thinking about the bowtechs I used to have so I think I am going to get one of them too. Then I will have the 2 best bows in the world in my opinion.
