Slight offset vs Quickspin fletching
#1
I have narrowed my search for my hunting arrows and one brand, the one Im using now has slight offset fletching, which Im used to. The other offers the Quickspin fletching which I have never shot.
Is it that one would be better for fixed or mechanical bh's? Is one more accurate than the other?
I need some help before I dump my cash on 12 of them. Anyoneknow the difference?

First you can also offset the quickspins. But dont use the original quickspins they suck. I use the Quickspin ST which hold up very well. I have my quickspins offset to 4 Degrees to the right which is the max for them, that you can offset I have found that on the loger shoots they stabilize fixed blades better this is with a 4 inch vane as well. I have to use them for the weight for my arrows. I shoot a very light arrow 352 grains. But I have put don and always have passed through on every deer I have shoot even kansas deer. They are expensive to.

All right...I will tell you the two I was looking at. I currently shoot the GoldTip 5575's with offset, and was looking at buying Carbon Express...with quickspin ST. Im gonna be using a mechanical bh.
So the quickspin ST is accurate at longer shots?

Depends on the Quickspins. I use the 2 inch Hunters. I had previously tried the longer ones and was VERY disappointed in them. They just didn't hold up well at all. The hunters are good, but you better not shoot for groups at the same dot or they're ruined real quick. You CAN NOT SHOOT the same SPOT... period. Unless of course you like refletching arrows after one practice session. I have mine 4 fletched. I love the way they fly.

Those are sweet looking david. I have used the 4 inch quickspins...they improved my overall groupings, but were not very rugged. With a mechanical head, I think you can get away a little more with fletchings that aren't very offset as compared to fixed blade heads. I really notice a positive difference when I off-set my fletchings with my fixed blade Muzzy's.

This is JMO,actually most experts would agree too,if you are using any fixed position broadheads you will get the best arrow flight with helical fletching,I know you can't put much of a helical on a quick spin ,but they are made to start rotating as it leaves the bow and this accomplishes the same thing as a helical,if your hunting with a mech, you don't need a helical for the arrow to stabalize.
