Jeff I hear ya. I don't know where I will be yet, too much property to narrow it down right now and too early to tell, but if I find some serious stuff , Im in that area first morning no matter what. I will spray down and let her rip, if I see em, great, if I don't, hey, it's just the first day!

I know the stand Ill be in regardless of the wind because the wind seems to have little effect on this particular stand unless its out of the south.

I do!!!! As I stated in the "hunting the wind thread", The hills I hunt the wind swirls like crazy all the time, it is just the nature of the land and that is whatI have to hunt. You can bet your last dollar I will be in one of two stands come opening morning, A north wind would be great but I won't get those till a little later in the year....

I can say with about 95% accuracy that I will be in my front stand. Of course that is because there is about a 95% chance that the wind will be out of the south or southest on opening morning....LOL.

I can't say for sure, but there are other factors that will play into that decision that I will know more on when the time comes.

Same question goes back to you. Do YOU know what stand you will be in opening morning?

I know where I want to go but the wind i just plain wrong I will adjust. However, if I know a stands action is hot I will make exceptions later on when the weatehr cools down and I won't be a stinky mess.
