I switched to the rage 3 blades last year and all I can say is WOW! The pictures above are worth a thousand words. The only problem I had was when I hit bone and the blade bent just a bit and it wouldnt go back in the down position. But im guessing that any expandable you use would have that issue. Other than that they are amazing.

They certainly seem to have earned their share of fans in just a very short time. As long as the shooter keeps an eye on the rubber o-rings you'll be all right. There have been a number of shooters that have had one or more of the blades fall out and deploy prematurely because they wouldn't stay tucked behind their o-ring. In fact, on one forums it was mentioned that this just occured on one of the Drury's shows. I've got a few of 'em at home but haven't shot any at whitetails...... yet. I know they were a great b-head in a past life..... when they were known as Rocky Mountain Snypers.

yes I would recomend the two blade, less moving parts, less to go wrong. and I have shot two deer with them and great big holes.
