Whats crazy is if 10 guys shoot 90" or better bucks, you stand a great chance at winning the whole thing. Really makesyou realize that location does play a huge part. 90" in areas I hunt are very abundant. 90" where Jeff hunts for example probably arent so abundant.

The good location high standard guys are great when they score but maybe it's better to have 10 consistent 80-100" first good 2.5yr old or best buck for their area types who will put SOMETHING on the ground?
I guess probably an unbeatable team would be one made up of 10 guys who hunt the best spots in the target rich midwest who take the first 100+" buck that walks by?
1000-1200pts would be tough to beat huh?

MOWTOWN, it definately has merit but would be very difficult to schedule. I could randomly pick 9 per team and then place them but at the same time there is no garuantee they will be back before or after that. Tough call.
I'd like to think we do a pretty good job at placing alternates right. I know years past alternates have been on a winning team and contributed.
Not sure how to handle it other than business as usually and hope for the best.

You're telling me.....lol. I saw 4 bucks (total), last year
(3 -1.5yr olds and one "other").
I may not be a good teammate

You think I'm kidding, PT. If I don't see a buck bigger than the two on my wall.....I'm not shooting (barring extenuating circumstances). With my sightings over the last three seasons.....I was being completely honest. How many have I seenfrom stand that would break 100"?

I've said this before. It won't be as easy as in past years to score for this tournament. That's no real "revelation". "I" wouldnt bet on me to score.....that's for sure.

I've got that beat! I didn't see a single buck last season! Except for the 10 or so I saw in 1 week in Illinois unguided
Gotta love it!
