And besides Todd, you can shoot #40-45 and be quicker thanyour Hoyts on #50-55. We will have our first GT500 in the shop Tuesday. I'll let you know what the draw cycle feels like compared to the Bowtechs. Since I know you've drawn one of those. I remember your exact words too .

I'll be able to compare it to an Allegiance with speed mods. Since I had one of those for a few days. [8D]

I can shoot Hoyts fast cam without issue, the rollover is smooth as silk.

Bowtech and Pse KILL ME,even at low poundage. It isn't the poundage that gets me,the rollover(stackup) is what hurts.

Remember what I said about a certain youth bow hurting me.I was shooting the Hoyts speed cam at a higher poundage than my current setup without issue.

I LOVE the numbers and technology in the Elites, just really concerned about the stackup.

I can tell you that looks are deceiving. I bought a GTO earlier in the year. I thought it was a smooth draw; that is until I shot it side x side with the GT500. The GTO definitely stacks and the GT500 is stiff but smooth all the way back and the back wall is OMG solid. Mine from the factory is shooting on the low end of the speed range but just for soe numbers, 54.3#/30"/394 grains/278fps. At 61.2# it was 302fps.

Stiff but smooth, that scares me.My shoulder is bad and after the rest of the family gets their mediacl issues taken care of,I will probably go under the knife myself but gotta take care of the family first. My daughter has surgery Tuesday and my wife MIGHT be looking at surgery in the near future as well.

I believe the Hoyt stacked up early in the cycle which my shoulder liked.

I will be glad when I get a chance to actually pull one myself.

Todd the Katera XL is VERY nice

If I were to switch to Hoyt....

My two bows would be a red ember Pro-Elite with C2 cams, XT3000 limbs, #60 and a Katera XL with the Z3 and MAYBE a #60, probably a #70 for resale. I LOVE working on the Hoyts, they are my favorite .

I make a LOT of guys happy that come in the shop to get their Hoyts tuned.

Bad as I dont like saying it, my next bow could very well be an Elite. They have impressive numbers, but it would be hard for me to venture from Hoyt. Wont be till next summer at the earliest, so it wouldnt be this years lineup anyway.

That bow is saweet. My next bow will be jet black as well.
