Watch a cat stalk a bird in the backyard and pay close attention to every detail. If you want to learn how to move in the woods, that'll teach you a great many things you need to know.;)

Get out and hunt. Sitting infront of the T.V. watching others do it and tell you how is nothing like the education you will get from making your own mistakes.

Now that sounds like a personal problem, Greg.:D Now, if you had said you sit down and lick your butt before starting out, then I'd be concerned.[:-]

Always have an arrow knocked when you are walking in or out of the woods. I shot 2 deer last season walking back to my truck. Just be careful not to fall on your broadhead.

If you get into the woods before first light, which I strongly suggest, I'd say that's not good advice. Maybe if you're leaving while it's stilllight though.

LOL...BUT, when you do come out of it, you'll come out of it with STYLE!! (see avatar)

My "golden tip" would be.....Learn how to read topos and arials. And, if AF wants to put you in a stand near water.......DON'T DO IT!!
