It’s just the 2 of us, so we only eat 1.5-2 ourselves. I give a lot to the rest of my family and neighbor. A lot also gets dealt out as jerky or shredded bbq (if we go to a picnic).

I would eat it more if I could. It helps that the wife and kids love it, too.We have been happy with the perch we have been eatinglately, though.

The wife very rairly eats meat so right now it is just me eating the deer. I personally eat about 2 deer a year (an average of a 1 lb package every 2 days, or about 180 lbs of venison).

Generally 2-3 deer per year. Most of which is ground into burger and some steaks....plus a few roasts. We would probably eat more, but when your on a lake in Ontario all summer you tend to eat a lot of fish!

You can't go wrong with awesome tasting fish from Canada. Best tasting fish around, clean, cool water!!

As for myself I usually only get one tag in the zone I hunt so if I'm lucky enough to get a deer we eat it up very quickly. There's been years where I've been able to shoot a couple deer so thats always nice. On the average though its normally one.

I have a 15 year old boy that is 6'3 250lbs, a 12 year old boy that is 5'7 140lbs and a wife that gets the grill going as soon as I drive up so we have back strap for dinner that night. Needless to say, my family can go thru some deer. I need at least 5 deer per year to keep me in venison all year and even then I will run out of steaks before March.

Two teenage boys and a wife who REALLY knows how to prpeare it.

About 6-7 per year does it for us.

We had 7 last year.gave one to family. It's July and there's no sausage left, two packages of loins, 1 roast and about 4-5 packs of burger and we have two months to go!!!
