The one piece Octane is not lighter than the 2 piece.

I own the 1 piece. I have owned one pieced quivers all my life and I will never get a 2 piece quiver because I like to take mine off in the stand. Takes off weight too!

One thing with the octane 2 piece is that it does have the quick detach feature.

Sure does, not that practical for removing it in a tree though. I liked it better than the 1 piece, so, I bought it.

If I choose to leave it on when I shoot I prefer the 2 piece, I find the quieter overall but when I like to shoot with them off, I prefer the one piece and a quick disconnect. Today I use the one piece and take it off but I have no issues with 2 piece ones and shooting with them on. It's a personal preference thing however again, if you always shoot with it on, I prefer the 2 piece for quietness and effectiveness.
