I used to shoot BullFrogs instead of gigging them.

It was a Blast!!

I've frog gigged most of my life. We have some really big bullfrogs down here, and lots of them, but it's illegal to shoot them with anything. It's even illegal to carry a firearm while hunting frogs.I've always caught them with my hand. Just got to be careful though. There are tons of snakes where there are lots of frogs.

I shot a bullfrog last night while I was out bowfishing. It's only the second frog I've shot at with my bow and the second one I've impaled.

Weird thing is... I feel kind of bad about it. The first one I drilled right under the chin and when I reeled him in, he had his little front legs holding onto the shaft and he groaned like a bad actor in a B movie death scene. The one last night groaned at me too. I stabbed him in the head right away to make him stop. (how's that for compassion?) [:-]

Because Jimbo is/was a jobless, no motivation, bitter and unpleasant individual who I got tired of supporting?

yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the reason.
