Favorite Hats - Design your own

I like the velcro straps. A nice freyed brim, tan or dark brown body with a camo brim or vica versa. I like a shorter brim and a good stiff one that will keeps its shape, none of that cheap carboard brimcrap. I prefer the logos to be embroiderd on not ironed on, they dont wear off lol.

I like the Realtree AP camo with the netted style back and velcro adjustment. Here are a couple that I own. Also I like the bottom of the bill to be black. It seems to help shade the eyes.

Send me one of each to demo and I'll let you know. However I really like hunting in a boonie hat. The bill of a ballcap gets in the way of my recurves string. For hunting with the Marquis the ballcap you described sounds pretty good. I would like it with a buckle and to be a close to the scalp fit not a big ol truckers hat style. Embroidered logo and all cloth, no mesh. I don't like frayed brims, it will get there soon enough!

Justin:
You sent me a camo cap, last year....AND a brown cap with the HNI logo in orange.
The camo cap....is "OK".
The brwon cap is a MUCH better fitting cap....and it seems to be of greater quality. If you could get this cap in a camo pattern (and yes....I like the idea of TeeJay's to use Ultimate Camo).....I think you'd have a "winner".
I'm also a proponent (if flex fit or fitted is off the table) of the velcro adjustment.
Just my .02

These are my favorite camo scouting hats. I wear out one every season.
Pretty nice for shed hunting, turkey hunting and summer scouting. It keeps your head from getting too hot.
Fall archery, I like to wear something less breathable for scent control purposes... But this is a damn fine hat. The only real problem is that after a year of shed hunting and mucking around the woods, it tends to get all snagged-up and the camo fades to an ugly pinkish color. So I just buy a couple at a time.

That hat that you described sounds pretty cool. We just got a new HB hat that is camo on the front two pannels and on the bill with a mesh back. I really like it for the summer when its hot out!
I perfer snaps as opposed to buckels/velcro, and i like the worn look of the pre-freyed hat brim.
Post pics when you get a sample in!
