I'm not going to get into the debate, it seems like it has been covered well. I'm just posting to say that yes I shoot aluminums. I thought about going to carbons for this year, but I just could not find anything that suited my neededs. So I stuck with my 2315s.

I switched back to aluminum(2216)last year. Matched with a Magnus stinger, great penetration on every deer so far.

I saw a reply where a carbon wont break. I had one break last year when the deer hit a tree. this is the only one ive had break. was it a defective arrow or do they break too?

I shoot aluminums...... they are cheaper, and I never cared for the looks of carbons. I won't get into a debate, to each his own. But someone did mention or ask if carbons break.......the answer is YES. From a durability stand point which seems to be the main reason suggested when i first inquired about carbons years ago all i can say is carbons cost more if I lose one since I have aluminums that are over 20yrs old durability isn't an issue.

P.S. There is another thread close to this one about gimmicks I think carbons are mentioned there.:)

Kidding kidding lol

Im still using my aluminums but will be trying my carbons out this year, not because I no longer like my aluminums its jst starting to cost more to replace them. Currently I shoot 2315'swith a 100gr muzzy mx4,I have had nothing but success and clean passthroughs since switchingfrom Thunderheads to Muzzys. Ill be using Muzzys on my newcarbons and hope they perform as well as the aluminums. If not Ill switch back to the aluminums.
