What do your bucks look like now?
#1
Just curious to see how far along your bucks are right now guys.
I'd love to see any that you guys are seeing now, and I'm also specifically interested in seeing any pics that you guys may have from last year, showing a buck this time of year and then again once the same buck has come out of velvet and fully developed. I was able to glass quite a few this past weekend, and also have quite a few pictures and I'm curious to see how developed they are elsewhere in comparison, and if anyone has pics from last year showing how much more we can expect them to grow before shedding velvet.
Anyone have any pics to share? Let's see what you have running around!!
Picture below was taken last night from one of my favoriteglassing spots on the property. It's 320 yards tothe food plot you can see in the distance (the mowed area). I also use the .223 to thin the woodchuck population in the horse pastures, but the 14x really helps to zoom in on the bucksto see what kind of headgear they have as well. I watched 8 deer enter the field last night right into that plot, all within 15 minutes or so.5 of them had some sort of headgear [8D].

Now these were taken on June 1st so they had and have alot of time to grow!

I just got the cam out this weekend..Lots of dead bucks on the side of the road lately. It appears some of the bucks are a few weeks behind the others.. From what I've noticed in the passed....our bucks in Michigan are not fully developed until Late July...
I love that shot of the whistle pig, groundhog,woodchuck....Great idea for a pic!

I think that buck in your second picture is bigger than you might think. He's not a yearling, and has some pretty good growth for a month ago. I only have 2x bucks so far this year that are bigger than him, and my bucks on camera have 2-4 weeks of growth on that guy.
Buckeye, can't wait to see what you have brewing.
