I hunt Illinois as well, I would use a scent killer spray over any type of cover scent

If you're coming to Illinois, I'd suggest gasoline, cigarette smoke or Tide laundry detergent..

(Seriously, the earth scent formulas have always seemed to work extremely well for me...)
Look who's calling the kettle black?:D

None, use the wind and remain scent free as possible.

Do you really think anything you can pack in the woods (scent wise) is natural to a Wild Animal?;)

Well since your going to be here about the time they are harvesting and plowing this year (running later than normaldue to all the rain), I'd definately go with the Fresh Earth Waffers, those plows and combines will be kicking it up all over the state during your trip here.

Keep telling yourselves that. Is it fool proof? No, but it can and does help if used correctly, I am sure at least 80% of everyone here uses them in some form or another and most have had good success with them.

I am not sure about IL, but here in VA...at that time of mid-fall, I use white oak acorn scent wafers. It covers my scent (IMHO) and puts an attractant in the air at the same time.
