Maybe it's the hood, I never had one on my bow. Does it grip the arrows tightly?

OKbowhunter... Kwickee quivers are notorious for that little spring that holds the lock in place making noise. Yes, it can sound like it's from the hood. The spring I'm talking about is the strip of spring steel that's hooked to the thumb release tab. It vibrates and sings like crazy. Hold it or bind it tight or take it off and slap the limb of your bow with the heel of your hand. Slap it first without holding the spring and then when you do. I'd be willing to bet it's the spring steel strip making the noise. They vibrate like a rattler.

Real simple solution. Don't shoot with a quiver on your bow. It's not a necessity. I only put my quiver on my bow (compound) for transportation purposes. When I practice it's off, and when I'm hunting it's off. I eliminate all possible noise makers!JMHO
