RE: Big Buck Secrets/Tips for pressure areas
I've seen it happen more than once that when guys(myself included) park in the same area every morning, that eventually, an older, and often times a 'ghost'' of a buck starts inhabiting an area oddly close to the parking area. He knows that you're coming before you turn off the truck.
Some of the biggest deer I've seen in my life during gun seasons are the ones jumped by other hunters upon entry/exit. The biggest deer my dad has ever killed came at noon while eating a sandwich on the tailgate of his truck. Anymore I skip some of the 'commeraderie'(sp) of gun seasons to sit all day.
