I took this one last fall. It was messing up my hunt and keeping the does from heading back to their mainbedding area where I was sitting on the ground waiting for them. He wandered too close.
About 15- 20minutes later the does and fawns headed back and I shot a doe. Found a shed while walking up tothe downed doe. Was a good morning!!
Pardon the old work jeans, I took my camos off to gut the doe and was in a rush to get to work. Once I got to work, I had the boss take the picture and just threw on the jacket and hat. Nice guy even let me cut upmy deer on the clock.

I shot a picture of these coyotes while I was snowmobiling in the Alagash region in Northern Maine.
Just a tourist photo.
I've gotten 4 to date, 2 with the bow and 2 with a rifle.
Last year I was sick as a dog, so I didn't want to sit in my stand as my head was spinning, so I made a ground blind and drew back on a coytote 15 yards in front of me, but it busted me, but to be that close to a wary predator was amazing and a high light.

Those are some healthy looking dogs from ME hanging there.
I have never shot one w/ the bow. My buddy took this one last season.

I have done it once. Wasn't even trying, it just happened while deer hunting.
I was sitting in a stand overlooking a cornfield when he strolled by on the opposite side of the field. I put my finger as high upas I could on a truetalker and still get a sound. It took a long while for him to come in, but one arrow at 17 yardsends the story.
All of my coyote hunting takes place with a rifle later in the year.

Unfortunately I did not back up my computer for 4 months and lost my son,..." />
