Love the photo too but getting to see him shoot that buck is a moment I will never forget. It was the worst case of buck feverI've ever had just watching itandTyler was cool as ice on the shot. I look forward to seeing pictures of your boys when they get their first bowdeer or elk.You will be bouncing off the mountains when it happen as there is nothing greaterthen seeing your kids hunt and pull it off!!

The group I hunted with in TEXAS for my 40th b-day present from my wife.
3 of us were Yankees and the rest were Texans, talk about a blast.
This hunt was near Briscoe in the middle east part of the pan handle.

I've got five kids. My oldest (12 today!) hunts and shehas had several close calls in the last two years. I'm hoping this is her year. I'm going to be focusing much of my energy on getting her a deer.
This was last year after a realy close encounter with a nice 8 point.

And then there is my buddy Chris. Chris is a boy from my church. He's 16 and small for his age. He's also got alot of health problems to include his kidneys. He's a good kid and unfurtunatly his dad is very busy trying to make ends meet (medical bills and all) So his dad hasn't had a ton of time to spend with him in the woods. Plus at 16 he and his father don't see eye to eye alot of times. So I decided last year to get Chris in my stand. He was hopping for his first buck and second deer. Long story short, he got buck fever on a half rack buck at 35 yards (gun season) We went twice and had a blast. I'm taking him again this year. Maybe I'll get both of them thier firsts this year.
Here is Chris near where my buck fell a couple weeks prior.

And here is the rest of the crew. My second daughter and my son also like tagging alone when soccer schedules and theweather allow. They also love shooting a bow. I should also mention the oldest has a selfbow I made her and dang is she good. won't be long she'll easily outshoot me.

Unfortunatly my father and grandfather have gotten out of it. I wish they would hunt with me but they don't They did come and help me this past season with my buck and I got some great pics with them. It made it so much better that 2 of the people I care about the most got to share that time with me. I guess I'll take what I can get.

Excellent pics everyone!!
My brother and I. I hunt with him more then anyone. We are pretty close brothers!

My dad and I. He is still by far my #1 hunting partner/buddy! I don't get to see him much being he lives 4.5 hours away. I will be spending a week with him next week being I'm taking my family to his place for some R&R and enjoy a family get away.

My brother again and my mom. My mom hasn't bow hunted much the last 5 years or so since my parents got a divorce. She loves it and has done very well with the bow in her hand (5 bear and 10 or so whitetails). I hope to get her back into it, I know she wants to.

Outside of family this guy is my #1 hunting buddy! Larry is the guys name. He is an awesome guy and great friend! We've shared many a camp fires!

This pic here is back in 1995 or so. This was our old hunting clan. A few of the people in this pic no longer live around here so we don't get to see much of each other anymore. We went 10 for 11 this particular year for bear. All longbow and recurve kills! It was the most memorable hunt I've ever been on. The one night alone we wad 5 different blood trails to go on. We got back to camp at 4 that morning and skinned every bear we had and finally finished that up at 7:30 that morning and off to the local freezer we went to put our bear hides and meat in. The longest night of my life by far, we did find every bear that night also.
The people are from left to right are....
myself (Schultzy), my cousin Scott, my mom, my dad, my brother, my old buddy Tim, my cousin Mike, my buddy Larry(family friend), Josh and his dad Bob.
